CNN Studio Tour
Join us for a guided tour of CNN Studios, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the 24-hour news station. Step inside a special-effects studio and learn how blue screens and other effects are used. Visit the exhibit area, where video clips are shown of the top 100 stories covered by CNN in the last 20 years. Test your knowledge on the interactive journalism ethics display. CNN Studios is located at the CNN Center, which opened in 1976 at a construction cost of $80 million. CNN Center is the world headquarters for TBS, Inc. and CNN, and contains more than 100,000 square feet of thriving restaurants and retail businesses.

Atlanta Botanical Gardens Guided Tour
For the secret botanist or nature lover in you ... The Atlanta Botanical Gardens has had many accomplishments during its 25-year history. Plant collections, especially orchids, conifers, and carnivorous plants, have achieved eminence, and the native plant conservation program is renowned. The garden features 15 acres of outdoor display gardens, including live acres of ornamentals from around the world. A special observatory and orchid center house rare and endangered plants from tropical rainforests and desert regions as well as a high elevation house, a tropical display house, and a center for education and research. accounting for a third of the gardens, Storza woods features mature maples, oaks, tulip poplars, beech, black cherry, hackberry, and flowering dogwood. A 1.25-mile nature trail leads visitors through the woodland and a footpath leading along Clear Creek. The children's garden is a special treat providing plant education and interactive entertainment that will delight adults along with children. (Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.)
