Citing the Internet: Formats for Bibliographic CitationChapter 30 on Citations and References for the Sixth Edition was based largely on the publication National Library of Medicine Recommended Formats for Bibliographic Citation. The Library has recently made available on its website a supplement dealing with citing the Internet. This supplement provides detailed instructions for citing all types of material found on the Internet, including homepages, Internet journals and books, databases, electronic mail, and discussion lists. Many examples illustrating the recommendations are also provided. This document is in Adobe Acrobat format.
