Save the Date!
After spending the summer evaluating event format and purpose, CSE is happy to share more details around its second Fall Virtual Symposium, November 1-2! Learn more about this year’s event and save the dates! Registration will open later in September.
Purpose & Topics
This year’s Fall Symposium format gives everyone the opportunity to learn and share collectively and collaboratively.
Each day will begin with a general session that no scholarly publishing professional will want to miss. Attendees will then choose a topic to focus on each afternoon. Case studies highlighting challenges and opportunities will set the stage, then attendees can apply what they’ve learned in workgroups. By the end of the day, participants will walk away with actionable, implementable strategies, and tactics to take back to their organization.

Has your journal or organization found success in one or more of this year’s topics? Share your experience and be part of the event! Complete our brief form, and the CSE Program Committee will review your submission to see how it can fit into the program. We are seeking two case studies per didactic session topic.
If selected, didactic sessions are from 12:30-1:30 PM ET on the day the topic is scheduled. If schedules allow, those who present during the didactic session are also encouraged to participate in the accompanying workgroup from 1:45-3:45 PM ET.
Please note the person submitting the case study will be the main point of contact and is not obligated to present, if selected. The individuals who do present will receive complimentary registration for the day.
Short Course Offerings
In addition to the Symposium, the Short Course for Manuscript Editors will be scheduled for Friday, November 5 to continue the education!
More details will be announced soon. Add to your calendar today!
