April 2014

CSE Members, On behalf of the Board and the CSE Nominating Committee, we are pleased to announce the newly elected members to the Board. We extend our thanks to all who ran and to our membership for participating in the vote.

Here are your new members to the Board:

Vice PresidentPatty Baskin
Treasurer-ElectCarissa Gilman
Director-at-LargeDana Compton

I’m excited we have the organization in such capable hands. It’s a strange feeling to take the helm of an organization, it’s like jumping on board a massive cruise ship for a year and with any luck maybe you can help the direction a bit, but not without the help of a lot of others. I’m in awe of the volunteers we do have and that I have watched work over the years, but especially in this past year as president. I look forward to the conference in May, the eighth edition of the Scientific Style and Format, and a new CSE website, all in the next month or so!
