Conducting a formal publisher search and managing a potential publisher transition is a big task that many publishing professionals will experience at some point in their careers. This webinar will provide an overview of the full publisher search process and include tips for preparing an effective RFP, asking the right questions, setting reasonable timelines, and managing relationships throughout. Speakers will share insights from the perspectives of societies, publishers, and consultants, giving webinar attendees an opportunity to learn through the lenses of a variety of peers.

Andrea Kunz is the Managing Editor for the Journal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer (JITC), which serves as the official journal of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC). Prior to assuming her current role with the journal just under 3 years ago, she oversaw the development of certified education programs and conferences at SITC for 3.5 years. Andrea participated in the CSE’s pilot Mentorship Program, presented at the CSE Annual Meeting in 2018, and is a current CSE Publication Certificate Program participant.
