Tammy is a Senior Acquisitions Editor at ACS Publications, working in Editorial and New Product Development. Tammy is responsible for the strategic development and editorial management of a multidisciplinary portfolio of thirteen journals across inorganic and organic chemistry, materials science, and engineering. Among Tammy’s key accomplishments are the successful launches of ACS Sensors and ACS Earth and Space Chemistry. Prior to joining the American Chemical Society in 2011, Tammy was a Chemistry Instructor and Director of the Welch Summer Scholar Program at Texas Tech University for 3.5 years. Tammy holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College, a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Cornell University, and she completed a post-doctoral appointment at University of California, Berkeley.
