The goal of CSE Connect is to support networking and connectivity among CSE members while learning something new about a topic of interest. CSE Connect events are free for members and $15 for non-members.
Events are held most months, and most events are informal in nature and a friendly spot for networking with your colleagues in scholarly and scientific editing. We hope you’ll join us for future CSE Connect events!
CSE Connect | What I Wish I Knew Before Moving Publishers
Scholarly journals will occasionally find themselves in the position to re-evaluate their publisher relationship and consider moving to a different publisher. Whether that move involves a change from self-publishing, independent publishing, or a commercial publisher, this tenuous process can be fraught as you navigate maintaining relationships and ensure that the journal operations are maintained and seamless. Join Susan Willner, Deputy Director of Publications at the American Society of Hematology, and Adam Etkin, Client Coordinator and Consultant at Origin Editorial, as we discuss best practices and personal experiences with moving publishers.
Speaker: Adam Etkin and Susan Willner
